Joe Martin left the city and his career as a homicide detective for the tranquility of the country and the less stressful job of town sheriff. Just as things seem to be going right in Joe’s life, a string of gruesome murders rocks his small town. No pattern. No motive. The only thing tying the murders together is the opportunistic nature of the perpetrator’s heinous acts. Together with his former partner, will Joe be able to stop whoever or whatever is running rampant in his small New England town?
